FREE FOR KERN RESIDENTS: ordinary residential waste (household or yard waste that would normally go in a residential can), large appliances, furniture including mattresses, and tree trimmings are disposed of at no cost. The per-ton and vehicle fees shown are NON-RESIDENTIAL rates. Verified against Kern County Public Works pages on 2026-11-01 (browser check); the facility page states fees in effect July 1, 2026 match the county schedule.

Not in the calculator: Kern County residents dump ordinary residential loads free, so a per-ton estimate would mislead. Non-residential haulers: use the vehicle rates above or $69.35/ton.
